You hit the enemies the same sequence over and over. Unlike “Dynasty Warrior II”, the battle fields are vast and empty of trees, rock, and pointy grass. The characters’ mouths aren’t synchronizing well.Here is where the game falls – The battle field/scene. However, the voice over is a bit off due to the difference in Japanese and English. nigh on impossible to uncover whether or not something is working well. I thing because of this and the repetitive nature of each battle it can be hard to see the game through to the end.Whether you want to command many armies or just get in on the action this is a great game to do both in. It can be hard to follow and isn’t even worth following really. Honestly though the story really just seems like an excuse for big battle. Plus it’s entertain to watch the duels that happen during this battle. I personally love getting involved with the battle after two opposing army clash by playing as the commanding officer. It is a strategy/war simulation game based loosely on the period of Chinese History found in the Romance of Three Kingdoms series, also by Koei. The strategic elements aren’t quite like the original but still fun no the less. All of the officer in the game are based off real people of the time with a magical and fictitious spin to make things more interesting. With that said Kessen II Is strategic sword, spells, & bows, military game set in ancient times of the Chinese dynasties. I would even suggest getting all 3 games (For reasonable or cheap prices) if you like one or the other because the’re all so different just keep in mind that they are all very different. A complete package with expected shipping that was all good!The game itself is great and a lot of fun! Kessen II is certainly a fair bit different from the original but that is not all bad whether you’ve played the first one or not. ![]()
